Turkmen leader participates in cycling ride under ecological action

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in ecological action, having started cycling race timed to the 140th anniversary of Turkmen capital. In the morning, the head of the state went to the southern part of Ashgabat where business and cultural center of the capital is under formation on the background of the Kopetdag Mountains and complex of super modern international medical facilities is located. Upon arrival, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ha started ecological and sport action, having set off cycling along the route running through the most beautiful streets of the main city of the country accompanied by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdiliyev, who is in charge of the capital.

Objectives of regional and capital development are reviewed at working session

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference working session with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of the regions and Ashgabat. Social and economic issues, course of agricultural campaigns as well as preparation to holidays have been reviewed at the session. First, the head of the state has called Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdiliyev, who is in charge of the capita, and head of Ashgabat city administration Ya. Gylyjov.

The President of Turkmenistan participates in the events on occasion of the 76th anniversary of the Great Victory

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has taken part in flower laying ceremony to the monument of “People’s Memory” memorial complex. It is worth to mention that honoring the veterans, who fought in the battles of the Great Patriotic War, as well as workers of the rare front and widows of the soldiers were held all around the country. Every year, the war veterans and widows of lost warriors received monetary prizes and valuable gift on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of work of the branches of national economy for four months have been summed up. Opening the session, the head of the state has given tie floor to Speaker of the Mejlis of National Assembly G. Mammedova and Deputy Chairman of the People’s Council of National Assembly K. Babayev.

The President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the People's Republic of China discuss the prospects for interstate dialogue

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping had a telephone conversation. At the beginning of the conversation, the head of the friendly state once again expressed deep condolences to the Turkmen leader over the terrible loss - the death of the Turkmen leader’s father Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov and conveyed words of sincere sympathy on behalf of the people of China.

Offsite session of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan takes place

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held offsite session of the State Security Council and participated in the groundbreaking ceremony of equestrian complex of military and law enforcement agencies. The agenda of the session included the outcomes of work of security forces in January – April 2021. Provision of peace and security in the country, strengthening of equipment and facility base and improvement of activity of military and law enforcement structures by introduction of digital system have been reviewed at the session.

The President of Turkmenistan: Rational use of land and water resources is the basis of food abundance

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made a working trip to Ahal Region inspecting production activity of Miwe Open Joint Stock Company and facilities of its engineering and technical infrastructure. Matters related to rational use of water in agricultural complex and water management sphere in general were the subjects of close attention of the head of the state. Comprehensive development of agricultural complex and best optimal implementation of its potential are priorities of economic strategy of Turkmenistan targeted to reformation and modernization of all branches of national economy on innovative basis. Large-scale reforms in agricultural sphere are aimed at its diversification, wide implementation of digital technologies, and increment of production volumes of various quality agricultural products.

Issues related to fulfilment of objectives set out in the Program of social and economic development of the regions, seasonal agricultural works as well as preparation to coming celebration events were reviewed at the session. Turkmen leader and the King of Bahrain discuss cooperation matters over the telephone

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with the King of Bahrain Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa. In the beginning of the conversation, the King of Bahrain extended deep condolences and sincere support to the head of the state on passing of his father Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov and wished Turkmen leader and his family to be strong in these hard days.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which current issues of the state life have been reviewed. In the beginning of the session of the Government, the head of the state has called Speaker of the Mejlis of National Assembly of Turkmenistan G. Mammedova and Deputy Chairman of the People’s Council of National Assembly of Turkmenistan K. Babayev and shared opinions on development and popularization of primordial traditions and customs of Turkmen nation among the youth.
