Working visit of the President of Turkmenistan to Balkan velayat

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the western region of the country, during which he got acquainted with the implementation of the state program for the socio-economic development of the velayats and the pace of grain harvesting campaign. In the morning, the President's helicopter headed from the capital to the Kizilarvat etrap of Balkan velayat.

The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan made a working trip to the city of Arkadag

Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag at the request of D.Orazov, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan and the Sh.Durdylyev, Hyakim of the city of Arkadag, during which Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the large-scale works carried out in the new city and its surroundings. Early in the morning, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan arrived at the roundabout under construction on the highway leading to the new city of Arkadag. Here, Hero-Arkadag was welcomed by D.Orazov, the Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of the city of Arkadag under the President of Turkmenistan and Sh.Durdylyev, the Hyakim of the city of Arkadag, who reported on the work carried out on the territory of the city.

The President of Turkmenistan held a working meeting via a digital system

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A. Yazmyradov, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and the hyakims of velayats. Issues of developing the country’s regions, as well as the progress of agricultural campaigns, were submitted for consideration. The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim Ya. Gurbanov, who reported on the pace of seasonal agricultural campaigns.

Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda included the outputs of activities of the military and law enforcement agencies over five months of this year, issues of ensuring security and tranquility in the independent Turkmen state, as well as strengthening the material and technical resources of security agencies and further improving performance tehreof. The first to speak was Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the Armed Forces, practical steps undertaken since the beginning of the year to successfully achieve the goals set by the head of Turkmen state for this institution. Information was provided on the work ongoing to equip the National Army units with modern technical machinery, and patriotic education of young soldiers. A separate topic in the report was the transfer to the reserve from the Armed Forces and the military conscription of the country’s citizens.

Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting to consider issues connected with the construction of production facilities of the second phase of the construction of Arkadag city. It was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N.Amannepesov and Chairman of the State Committee for the Construction of Arkadag city under the President of Turkmenistan D.Orazov. The noble activity initiated by the Hero-Arkadag in the era of the Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, successfully continued under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, makes it possible to carry out large-scale transformations and achieve great goals. The architectural appearance of Arkadag city, which fully meets the highest international standards, will be inscribed with golden letters in the glorious history of our native Motherland.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in a mass bike ride on the occasion of the international holiday – World Bicycle Day, which united thousands of compatriots – residents of the capital and regions of the country. The adoption of the Resolution at the 82nd plenary session of the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly, which approved June 3 as World Bicycle Day, testifies to the high appreciation by the World Community of Turkmenistan’s initiative role in the development of sports and fitness movement, cooperation in this field between states and peoples, the formation of ecological culture of society.

The President of Turkmenistan received the OSCE Secretary General

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Ms. Helga Schmid. Expressing gratitude for finding time for the meeting, Ms. Helga Schmid presented to the President of Turkmenistan the certificate of accession of Arkadag city to the Project “Development of sustainable, green, climate-friendly cities with innovative solutions in the region of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe” and the certificate “EcoPorts”, awarded to the International Sea Port of Turkmenbashy.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the first online working meeting in the new year 2023, which passes under the motto “Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar” with participation of Deputy-Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers A.Yazmyradov, who supervises the agro-industrial complex and khyakims of velayats to consider the issues connected with seasonal agricultural activities in the country.
