On November 22, 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia to Turkmenistan Mohd Suhaimi Bin Ahmad Tajuddin. Presenting his credentials, the diplomat conveyed warm greetings to the head of the Turkmen state from the Supreme Head of Malaysia Abdullah R’iayatuddin Al-Mustafa Bill and Prime Minister Anwar bin Ibrahim, who emphasized the special importance attached to strengthening the ties of friendship and mutually beneficial cooperation with Turkmenistan, which is confidently following the path of sovereign development.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has held a working meeting via a digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atahallyev, who is in charge of the agro-industrial complex, and velayat khyakims. The meeting agenda included issues related to the progress of seasonal field campaigns and other relevant work in the regions of the country. The floor was first given to Akhal Velayat Khyakim R. Hojagulyev, who reported on the state of affairs in the fields of the region.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with new plans for the development of Arkadag city

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has made a working trip to the city of Arkadag in order to watch the projects of a complex of new buildings of the Agricultural University and research institutes. Here the head of state held a working meeting with the heads of specialized structures. Early in the morning, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov arrived in the city of Arkadag. Arkadag Hero Serdar emphasized the need to carry out structural reforms in the agro-industrial complex, as in other sectors of the national economy. In this context, great importance must be attached to the development of the country’s agriculture on a scientific basis.

Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Arkadag city to get himself familiarized with various construction projects planned to build there within the framework of the second turn of construction activities. The head of Turkmenistan took part in the Summit of Heads of State of the ECO

On November 9, 2023, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the 16th Summit of the Council of Heads of Countries of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO). The Summit held in Tashkent under the motto “Together for economic stability and development” was attended by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyed Ebrahim-Raisi, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, the President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, Acting Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Anwaar ul-Haq Kakar. The Summit was also attended by ECO Secretary General Khusrav Noziri.

The meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular meeting of the State Security Council. Its agenda included the outcome of work carried out by military and law enforcement bodies for ten months of the current year, foremost important tasks for ensuring security and peace in independent neutral fatherland, further strengthening of the material and technical basis of security forces and improvement of their activity. B.Gundogdyev, Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence was the first to report on practical measures taken for the period under review with a view of implementation of the program for development of the armed forces, introduction of digital system in structural units and improvement of qualifications of officers. The information on the course of transfer from the armed forces to the reserve and next draft campaign of citizens of Turkmenistan to the military service was also delivered.
