President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov participates in opening of new facilities in the capital

Opening ceremonies of new buildings of the State Commercial Türkmenbaşy Bank and Joint Stock Commercial Senagat Bank have been held in Turkmen capital. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the events on this occasion. Opening of the facilities of banking sphere, which construction was made according to the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan from February 15, 2018 is timed to remarkable event – the 30th anniversary of the country’s independence.

Outcomes of development of Turkmenistan in January – March are reviewed at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held extended video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where outcomes of the first quarter of the year have been summed up, priority objectives of social and economic development have been discussed. Heads of the regions and Ashgabat, number of ministries and departments have been also invited to the session. Having announced the agenda, the head of the state gave floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers G. Mushikov who reported on macroeconomic indicators of January – March this year.

Turkmenistan modernizes aerial emergency medicine

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov inspected medical helicopter ANSAT, which was delivered to our country and designated for provision emergency medical services to the population. This event is a visual evidence that improvement and development of national health protection sphere is a priority aspect of the government policy of Turkmenistan. Have proclaimed health as the main value of the country, the President holds health protection of the population, prevention and timely treatment of diseases, assertion of the principles of healthy life style under permanent attention.

Outcomes of work of security forces in January – March are reviewed at the session of the State Security Council

President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held regular session of the State Security Council. Outcomes of activity of military and law enforcement agencies for three months of the year have been discussed at the session. Having announced the agenda, Turkmen leader gave floor to Minister of Defense B. Gundogdiyev who reported on work carried out by the structures under his command in January – March. The report on measures undertaken for successful fulfilment of objectives defined by the military reform, including the strengthening of defensive capability of National Army, has been given.

The head of the state inspects the activity of mounted divisions of military and law enforcement agencies

President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has paid a visit to International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex where inspected the work carried out in mounted divisions of military and law enforcement agencies of the country. Turkmen leader has also watched the racing and looked around the horses, which would participate in International ahalteke horse beauty contest. In the morning, the head of the state has come to International Ahalteke Equestrian Complex located at the foothills of Kopetdag Mountains.

Priorities of regional development of the country in agenda of working video conference session

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held regular video conference session with participation of the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, who supervises agricultural complex, and heads of the regions. Issues of social and economic development, seasonal agricultural works and preparation to holidays have been reviewed at the session. First, head of Ahal Region Ya. Gurbanov has reported on the situation in the region. In particular, the information about agricultural works, measures for improvement of social and living conditions of the population of the region, construction of various facilities, which opening is timed to the 30th anniversary of neutrality, has been presented.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov: Energy security, transport and ecology are the main spheres of regional cooperation

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has taken part as an honorary guest in unofficial Summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council) in online format by the invitation of the first President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yolbasy, Honorary Chairman of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States Nursultan Nazarbayev. It is worth to remind that this international organization was established in October 2009. At present time, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Turkey are the members of the Turkic Council. Hungary has a status of observer in this organization.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is elected as a member of the People’s Council of National Assembly

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held regular video conference session of the Cabinet of Ministers where priority issues of the state life have been reviewed. Opening the session and addressing its participants, the head of the state has noted that the elections of members of new constitutional body – the People’s Council, have been held in Turkmenistan on March 28. Its foundation will be a historical event for the future of our state. This body will provide steadfast implementation of large-scale programs, which are developed and introduced by the Government together with people of the country for happy life of Turkmenistan citizens and future of the Motherland.
