The book is a spiritual wealth

In all periods of history the Turkmen people looked upon the book with a special respect and love. They looked upon the book as the main means containing immortalizing and spiritual-moral values in itself. Highly appreciating the book as the transforming force of the society our esteemed President wisely noted: «The book is similar to the candle which is brought into the dark room. Historical books light up the darkness of the past. It satisfies the desire of the human being to perceive the reality, the truth. That is why the human generations worship books and works. The book is the fruit of science, the flower of culture. If books are published much the science and culture will flourish too. This year announced as «Turkmenistan — Home of Peace and Trust» has been marked with glorious events. One of them was the celebration of the 140th Anniversary of Ashgabat, the capital of our Fatherland on the 25th of May. Ashgabat is the crossroad for the life paths of many Turkmen people. Many Turkmen poets and writers created their masterpieces in connection with Ashgabat, because it is the city that unites all the people of Turkmenistan. Many great events took place in this city, the capital of Turkmenistan. Each building or street of the city reminds of historical events like a symbolic monument.

Gurbanguly BERDIMUHAMEDOV,President of Turkmenistan: — In the Epoch of Might and Happiness mass popularization of the bicycle sport and combination of cycling with effective recreation show the further growth of interest of our people following the healthy way of life and becoming of physical culture and sport the inseparable part of the common culture of our society. Marking the 3rd of June as the World Bicycle Day has become a good tradition. Establishment of the World Bicycle Day by the General Assembly of the UNO on the initiative of our esteemed President once again showed creative, humanistic and peace-loving features of Turkmenistan. To be exact, at the 82nd meeting of the 72nd session of the General Assembly of the UNO on the initiative of Turkmenistan the Resolution was adopted and 56 states were in co-authorship of the Resolution on the World Bicycle Day. The declaration the 3rd of June as the World Bicycle Day vividly showed that the initiatives of our country on strengthening peace, friendship and fruitful co-operation are unanimously supported on the world level. In April of the year «Turkmenistan — the Home of Peace and Trust» several opening ceremonies of modern buildings showing the exact results of the changes carried out under the guidance of our esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and development of our country with rapid spaces. These ceremonies were held in honour of the 30th Anniversary of Independence of Turkmenistan, the 140th Anniversary of Ashgabat and of the year «Turkmenistan-the Home of Peace and Trust».

Peace and trust: goals of the globe

On April 15, 2021, there were two opening ceremonies of magnificent buildings — a new building of Congress Centre of Turkmenistan and Reception Centre in the southern part of our capital with the participation of our esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. Moreover, international conference session, so called «International Co-operation of Independent and Permanent Neutral Turkmenistan in Honour of Peace and Trust» was held in the splendid Congress Centre on that day. After the opening ceremony, the President of Turkmenistan opened the session and noted that this splendid facility designed to become a welcoming and comfortable place for meetings of multi-format discussions of topical issues of international life. During the session, it was highly evaluated that Turkmenistan participates actively in building priorities of trust and mutual understanding, following positive neutrality and maintaining international peace within the framework of the UN. As we know, on the initiative of our esteemed President this year has been called «International Year of Peace and Trust» by the UN and this initiative reflected as our motto of 2021 as «Turkmenistan — the Home of Peace and Trust. Turkmenistan — Unesco: paving roads from the homeland

In a modern diplomacy the cultural diplomacy is considered the core of public diplomacy. It includes the exchange of ideas, information, art, language and other aspects of culture among countries in order to foster mutual understanding. The main purpose is to protect the national interests of states by spreading a positive understanding around the world. Nowadays states more actively use positive platforms such as organizations to promote their national interests. One of these kinds of organizations is UNESCO which stands for the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization. Turkmenistan became the member of UNESCO on August 17, 1993, and since then, a special mechanism has been established at the national level for systematic co-operation with this organization. The national mechanism of work consists of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO and the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

The Ecology Diplomacy of Turkmenistan

In the Epoch of Might and Happiness the ecology policy directed at the interests of the universal humanity of our country developing with high rates under the wise guidance of our esteemed President is met with a great interest by the world community and the initiatives put forward in this trend by our Independent state are realized successfully. Digital economy: Perfect innovative Growth

In the Epoch of Might and Happiness the state policy put forward by our esteemed President on digitalization and technological development of our national economy is the main condition of the innovative development of our country. The measures carried out according to Programs on developing the digital economy in Turkmenistan are aimed at improving the living standards of the population by forming an educated society, creating an information space in all sectors, introducing modern and the most advanced technologies into production, improving the management system, making goods and services available as well as improving their quality. Magtymguly, The great turkmen poet

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan: — Magtymguly Pyragy, the great Turkmen poet and philosopher who illuminated the hearts of the people with the rays of kindness is one of the highly adorable personalities for the Turkmen people. Magtymguly, the classic Turkmen poet of the 18th century, according to existing scientific information was born in 1724 in the village of Hajygovshan located near the Gurghen River. Magtymguly was from the Gerkez group of the Gokleng tribe of Turkmens. In his poem «Marked in the World» («Äleme belgilidir») he writes:

Muhammet Bayram Khan, Turkmen Poet and a famous Statesman

Muhammet Bayram Khan the Turkmen (1501 — 1561) was a skilled poet, a famous statesman, a brave military commander, who embodied the true features of the Turkmen character and after the death of the emperor Babur in 1530 he became the adviser of the ruler Humayun. At that time he also took part in diplomatic missions and in battles as the brave general. Our esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov notes: «The poetic and philosophical unity of thoughts, multifaceted views on the glorification of humanity, the elevation of the human dignity are the main features of the poet's work. The literary heritage of Bayram Khan, which entered the universal poetic treasury as an ode to humanity, friendship, goodness and beauty, is our pride».

Modern hothouse complexes

In the Epoch of Might and Happiness, under the wise leadership of our National Leader, the year «Turkmenistan is the Home of Peace and Trust» marked with great achievements and historic events, inspires the spirit of our people. On the 25th of March the participation of our esteemed President in the opening ceremony of the modern hothouse complex in Kaka region of the Ahal province has become one these important historic events. The President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave his blessings to the opening ceremonies of newly constructed hothouses in the Ak bugday district of the Ahal province, in the city of Turkmenbashy of the Balkan province, in the Gorogly district of the Dashoguz province, in the Charjev district of the Lebap province and in the Sakarchage district of the Mary province via television space bridge. Their total area is equal to 35 hectares. These hothouses intended to produce 8 thousand 750 tons of vegetable products annually, have been equipped with modern technologies and water-saving technical systems. It is also pleasant to mention that commissioning of these hothouse complexes creates about 400 new jobs and the heads of these hothouses received new agricultural technical machines, the worldwide popular «John Deere» tractors as a gift of our esteemed President. Bicycle —a means of healthy life

The word «Bicycle» was derived from the conjunction of Latin words «velox» — fast and «pes» — foot. As is known from its name, in this type of sport knee and foot parts of a leg are mostly active. Doctors have noted that as a result of continual daily cycling in fresh air, there is a very low level of possibility for developing exhaustion, anxiety and distress in a human body. Moreover, it contributes to keep metabolism in stability and eliminate excess fats. The effect of physical conditions occurring during cycling extends to 2-3 hours after stopping it. Nowadays, a bicycle is considered to be the most widespread means of transport. Its cheap price, light weight, small size, no fuel consumption and its safety increase the attraction of this type of transport. Cycling as a sport is especially popular in our country. At present construction of modern cycle tracks and other sport complexes, the wonderful tradition of our National Leader holding regular cycling marches uniting thousands of population of Turkmenistan gave a powerful impetus to developing cycling sport.

Digital diplomacy and its importance

Diplomacy was always the major contributor to the development of Turkmenistan and as for today our country has conducted various dimensions of diplomacy such as transport diplomacy, cultural diplomacy, and education diplomacy. Invention of new technologies and advancement of Internet presents us digital diplomacy, which is completely new in the 21st century. Digital diplomacy is widely defined as the use of Internet and new information communication technologies to help achieve diplomatic objectives. Looking ahead, digital diplomacy will be integrated into the way states interact with each other. Using internet and social platforms to achieve diplomatic objectives will be a daily routine for diplomatic missions in the future. From today’s perspective, it is possible to give the fair predictions about what is going to happen to the international relations and how the way it is conducted will change. Novruz bayram —holiday of renewal and benevolence

Novruz is annually celebrated in our country on March 21-22, the day of the vernal equinox, and heralds the coming of the New Year. Novruz is one of the oldest holidays that have lived for many centuries in the souls and memory of many nations, including Turkmen people. Today this bright holiday has acquired an international status, embodying the high principles of peace, humanism, diligence, being a symbol of friendship and goodwill. This beautiful, widely celebrated spring holiday contributes to the strengthening of peaceful relations between states and popularizes the historical and cultural traditions of peoples. From times immemorial, Turkmen people have been especially zealous in celebrating numerous national celebrations.
