Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system with the participation of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers T. Atakhalliyev and velayat governors to review the pace of work in the agricultural sector and in the regions of the country. The first to speak was Akhal velayat khyakim S. Soltanmyradov, who reported on the state of affairs in the region’s agricultural lands.

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held the regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the agenda of which included a number of issues of state life. Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova was the first to take the floor and inform on further improvement of national legislation aimed at further social and economic development of the country and successful realisation of state programs.

Negotiations between President of Turkmenistan and Prime Minister of Malaysia

Today, talks between President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim took place here. As was already informed, the day before the head of the state arrived in this country with an official visit, which is called to open a new landmark in the history of Turkmen-Malaysian cooperation. In the context of development of multilateral cooperation with states of the Asian-Pacific region, Turkmenistan consistently strengthens traditional relations with Malaysia, based on principles of mutual respect. In this regard, the bilateral trade and economic partnership, which meets mutual interests, is intensified. Malaysia, which enters into the number of rapidly developing states of the region, is one of the reliable partners of our country.

On December 17, 2024, the National Leader of the Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Executive Director of the Turkmenistan-USA Business Council Eric Stewart. Expressing gratitude for the meeting, Mr. Stewart emphasized the great interest of the US business community in working in the Turkmen market, where favorable conditions have been created for constructive activity.

Succession to high spiritual traditions is the foundation of the Fatherlands’ prosperity

Today, with the participation of the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Arkadagly Hero Serdar, a sadaqah was held at the Gokdepe Mosque in honor of Haji Arkadag's pilgrimage to the Holy Kaaba. This event became a vivid expression of the continuity of centuries-old traditions and family values of the Turkmen people, now evolving in the spirit of modernity. The sadaqah was attended by leaders of the Mejlis, members of the Government, khyakims of velayats, the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and sectoral departments, members of the Halk Maslahaty, deputies of the Mejlis, heads of Turkmenistan's diplomatic missions abroad, embassies and international organizations accredited in our country, media leaders, imams, honorary elders and venerable mothers from velayats and the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag.

Representatives of the senior generation is a model school for the youth

Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Honoured Elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting of the Council of Elders under the Khalk Maslakhaty and the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Aid to Children in Need of Care. Its agenda included the issues connected with fulfilment of the goals, set forward at the national forum as well as with the course of large scale work carried out in velayats.  Opening the meeting, Hero-Arkadag noted that at present, noble principles, which wise ancestors created and serve a model for the whole world, find their worthy continuation in our country. In this regard, festivities organized in honour of significant dates that take an important place in the national calendar, reflect the happy life of Turkmen nationals and harmonious development of our fatherland.

Enlarged session of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an enlarged session of the Cabinet of Ministers with the participation of the heads of diplomatic missions and consular offices of Turkmenistan in foreign countries and representative offices of our country to international organizations. The agenda included priority issues of foreign policy implemented by the neutral Fatherland in the international arena. Opening the session, the head of Turkmenistan emphasized that December 12 will be a great holiday – International Day of Neutrality and cordially congratulated those gathered and, in their person, the entire Turkmen people on this significant date.

The National Leader of Turkmen People, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan participated in the “One Water” Summit

On 3 December 2024, the National Leader of Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a working trip to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to participate in the ‘One Water’ Summit held within the framework of the 16th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (COP-16). Following the unique traditions and customs of the Turkmen people, Haji Arkadag started his visit with a pilgrimage to the Holy Kaaba, visiting the city of Mecca.
