Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers via the digital system, the agenda of which included a number of issues of public life. The first speaker was the Chairwoman of the Mejlis D.Gulmanova, who informed about the ongoing activities to improve the legal framework of the country. In this regard, it was reported on the preparation of a draft of a new edition of the Civil Code, as well as on the introduction of amendments and additions to the Budget and Sanitary Codes, to the Laws “On Physical Culture and Sports”, “On State Scientific and Technical Policy”, “On Seed Production”.

Working Trip of the President of Turkmenistan to the Balkan Velayat

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the western region of the country, where he acquainted himself with the progress of the implementation of the state programme of the socioeconomic development of the velayats and the pace of grain harvesting. Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a regular meeting of the State Security Council to consider the results of the work of military and law enforcement agencies for January-May of the current year. The agenda also includes issues of ensuring security and peace in our independent Homeland, strengthening the material and technical base of security forces, and further improving their activities. The first speaker was the Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B.Gundogdyev, who reported on the work done by subordinate structures during the period under review and the practical steps taken to successfully implement the priority tasks identified by the military reform, including strengthening the defensive power of the National Army.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in solemnities on the occasion of commissioning of new power energy projects into operation

Today, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Dashoguz velayat where he took part in solemnities on the occasion of commissioning of the Balkan-Dashoguz new high-voltage transmission line and two substations of 500 kilovolts each, built on this route within the project of creation of a uniform energy ring of the country. A significant event of the year «The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi» became an important chapter in the history of development of the national electric energy industry, which is given a key role in the strengthening of power of national economy and successful implementation of government programs in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State by right.

The President of Turkmenistan took part in a bike ride on the occasion of World Bicycle Day

Today in our country, according to the established good tradition, World Bicycle Day is widely celebrated. President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the mass bicycle ride held in the capital on the occasion of this international holiday, which took its rightful place in the United Nations calendar. One of the original attractions of Ashgabat is the «Bicycle» monument, located at the intersection of Chandybil Avenue and Bekreve Street, where the route of the festive bike ride begins.

The working trip of the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan to Arkadag city

Today, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, Honourable elder Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited Arkadag city where he familiarised with designs of various projects planned to be built during the second stage of construction of the new city as well as with samples of decorative finishes of buildings. Besides it, Hero-Arkadag held a working meeting in the head office of the Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Foundation for Assistance to Children in Need of Care. Taking into account the fact that within realisation of the second stage of construction of the new city, basically erection of industrial complexes is planned and a special significance is given to introduction of modern achievements of science in practice. In the given context, preservation of its architectural shape and the favourable ecological environment were outlined as important goals of the town-planning program of Arkadag city.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening of a new water management facility in the capital

Today, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the commissioning ceremony of a new important facility - the «Bagtyýarlyk» water treatment plant with a capacity of 150 thousand cubic meters of water per day. The construction of the facility was carried out in accordance with the relevant decree of the head of state. The source of water is an open reservoir with a volume of one million cubic meters, located on the right bank of the Garagum River. The naturally settled water flows by gravity into the front chamber of the first pumping station, where equipment manufactured by the world famous company KSB is installed. It is then sent to a water treatment plant, disinfected and sent to a reservoir for filtration.
