The National Forestry Programme of Turkmenistan, launched by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, is being successfully implemented in the country under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov. Within the Programme, millions of trees are planted every year to turn our beloved Motherland into a blossoming garden. This work increases the forest areas in the country.
According to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, the nationwide tree-planting campaign was launched in the country on March 16. On that day, following the noble tradition, various species of trees were planted in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag and in the regions of our country. The participants beautified the forest areas. The President of Turkmenistan and our Hero-Arkadag took part in the events and launched the nationwide tree-planting campaign that day.
