In accordance with the schedule, approved by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on March 15, farmers of the Dashoguz velayat have begun sowing cotton. Taking into account the soil and climatic conditions, sowing there started a little later than in other regions of the country.

According to good tradition, the start of work was blessed by the venerable elders. After raising a prayer to the Almighty for the wellbeing and prosperity of the Motherland, the Turkmen people and the head of state, they threw the first cotton seeds into the soil and then gave way to machine operators.
