The Turkmen athlete Medine Amanova won the second medal for the team of Turkmenistan at the 2023 Asian Weightlifting Championships held in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province, the Republic of Korea, on May 5–13.

The Turkmen athlete competed in the 64-kilogramme weight class event. She lifted 90 kilogrammes in the snatch event, 117 kilogrammes in the clean and jerk event, and won a silver medal at this prestigious international tournament.
