Tottenham’s Son Heung-min to undergo surgery

«7/24. tm», № 45 (128), 07.11.2022 Tottenham striker Son Heung-min will undergo surgery to stabilise a fracture around his left eye, the football club’s website reports. The South Korea international suffered the injury during the first half of Tuesday’s UEFA Champions League victory at Marseille (2-1). «Following surgery, Son will commence rehabilitation with our medical staff,» the message says. The rehabilitation period for the 30-year-old player is not reported. The striker has scored five goals and provided two assists in Tottenham’s 19 games this season.

«7/24. tm», № 44 (127), 31.10. 2022 On October 20, 2022, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution On the establishment of the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan. In accordance with the document, the Ministry of Sport and Youth Policy of Turkmenistan ceased its activities, and the State Committee of Turkmenistan for Physical Culture and Sports was established instead of it. The Resolutions of the President of Turkmenistan approved the Regulations on the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan and the structure of the Central Office of the Committee.

Turkmen paralympic athletes continue to compete for slots in Paris 2024 Paralympic ames

«7/24. tm», № 43 (126), 24.10. 2022 The delegation of the National Paralympic Committee of Turkmenistan, led by Head Coach in Para Powerlifting, Honoured Coach of Turkmenistan Tahyr Shorahanov, came back from Georgia, where it performed at the World Para Powerlifting European Open Championships together with 30 participating nations. These competitions are the mandatory qualifying event of the second stage of the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games. Our athletes won 5 medals: 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.

The corresponding decision was made by members of the Executive Committee of the International SAMBO Federation. Regulations and prize fund of the World Sambo Championships in Bishkek published

The best sambists of the planet will take part in the competition in 21 weight categories: 7 for men, 7 for women, and 7 for Combat SAMBO among men. The winners of the tournament will compete for a prize fund of 231 thousand US dollars. The general partner of the World Championships is Rosneft oil company.
