Wind Energy Potential

A promising solution to environmental problems on planet Earth is the application of new energy saving technologies using non-traditional renewable energy sources. In recent years, wind energy has been rapidly developing, and one of its advantages is eco-friendliness. These technologies significantly reduce air pollution and mitigate the effects of climate change. Today, renewable energy sources (RES ) play an important role in promoting sustainable energy development on a global scale. In general, renewable energy sources that abound around us thanks to the sun, wind, water and the heat of the Earth compensate for energy generation costs and emit nearly no greenhouse gases or pollutants into the atmosphere.

Coastal Volcanoes

There are many natural monuments on the territory of our vast and sunny country, which gives ample opportunities for expanding the geography of the main directions of domestic tourism in the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State. In this regard, of high interest are hilly mud volcanoes, the ridges of which, forming a chain, stretch along the coast from the littoral Esenguly etrap all the way to the Cheleken Peninsula (at present Hazar). Among them are the “twins” Akpatlawuk and Gokpatlawuk and Chekishler, Keymir, Tuynukli, Porsy and Gaynagdepe, which differ in the depth of the crater and the height of the hill. There are a total of about 30 mud volcanoes on the territory of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen coastal residents called them “patlawuk”, which, in particular, is stated in the book of the Hero-Arkadag “Turkmenistan – the Land of Healing”.
