NT Commentary 

A meeting of the Presidium of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan chaired by the National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took place in Ashgabat. The priority tasks for achieving the objectives of the Programme of the Socioeconomic Development of Turkmenistan and Investments for 2024 were the focus of attention of the members of the Government, the Mejlis, political parties, public associations and the media. Emphasising that the ambitious tasks had been set for the members of the Halk Maslahaty, the Mejlis and public organisations, who were to achieve the grandiose goals in the interests and for the benefit of the people, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov presented a holistic strategy of actions aimed at achieving the objectives of the Programme in his speech.
