Description of medicines of our country

Our ancestors, who  said  «Healthy pear will not fall off its stem»,  knew  first of all the  necessity of health for continuation of life. Looking at it from a modern point of view, the multi-volume scientific and encyclopedic book «Medicinal plants of Turkmenistan» which provides indispensable information about the thousands of types of medicinal plants growing in our country, their health benefits, is enough to strengthen human body, to prevent diseases and to prolong life.

Epidemiological structure of acute respiratory infections in Turkmenistan

Peculiarities of the epidemic spread of influenza viruses are determined by ability to rapidly mutate and the highest variability of Alphainfluenzavirus and significant – Betainfluenzavirus. Each new shift and drift variant of Alphainfluenzavirus or Betainfluenzavirus is able to overcome the immunity acquired by humans to previously circulating variants of the same virus [1]. This is the reason for the global spread of influenza. The aim of the work is to study the epidemiological structure of acute respiratory infections in Turkmenistan.

Minimally invasive derotational osteotomy of the lower third of shin bone in children

Torsion deformities of the lower extremities are twisting of the distal parts of the femur and lower leg bones along their axis in relation to the proximal parts. Deformities (twisting) of bones of the lower leg in children are clinically manifested in gait with an internal rotational or external rotational component [2]. A deviation of more than 20 degrees indicates pathological torsion, which usually does not tend to improve and requires surgical correction [1, 6]. Derotational osteotomy is used to eliminate torsion deformities of shin bones [1, 5, 6].

And here an important role is played by a healthy lifestyle and preventive measures, particularly the observance of the rules of personal hygiene. As a reminder, keep your hands clean, wash them often with soap or use a disinfectant. Avoid touching your mouth, nose or eyes with unwashed hands.

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle

«7/24. tm», № 41 (124), 10.10. 2022 The weather of the first days of October with a sharp decrease in air temperature reminded us that autumn is on the calendar. Though the sun continues to warm us with its gentle rays, our body responds to the change of seasons. Our immune system is becoming weak and needs to be boosted.

Strong immune system is the basis of health

Strong immune system is a reliable protection of the body against various diseases. The immune response to viral and bacterial infections helps fight diseases and protect health. Nutrition is the basis of a healthy lifestyle and predetermines the level of the quality of life. This does not mean at all that for this it is necessary to use hard-to-reach or very expensive products. Do not chase exotic fruit, rare spices or outlandish berries.

Autumn Is the Time to Take Care of Your Health

In autumn, along with the onset of cold weather, rains, humidity and short daylight hours, in most cases, human immunity decreases. Therefore, the body becomes vulnerable to acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI). Autumn is the time to take care of your health and that of your loved ones. Of course, first of all, it is necessary to strengthen the protective functions of the body. Restoring and strengthening the body’s defences are quite simple if the whole family follows the simplest hygiene rules and maintains a healthy microclimate in the flat. The thorough washing of hands and the rinsing of the nose after going outdoors, the regular ventilation of the flat and the maintenance of normal humidity in it can bring very good results.

Strengthening the Health of the First-Grader

The traditional bustle in the last days of August does not allow children and their parents to relax. Children are growing and now they have to go to school. Do we need to prepare for school and how to do it? This question inevitably arises before parents. The development of all physical qualities of the future first-grader suçh as agility, endurance, flexibility and speed require attention. Endurance is closely related to efficiency – a quality without which success in any activity is impossible. It is also necessary for our future student. Very carefully you need to monitor the posture of the child. During classes, when playing games and at the table, do not forget to remind the child how to sit at the table correctly. Especially pay attention to the fact that the back of the child, when sitting, touches the back of the chair, and the forearms lie freely on the table. Daylight should fall on the left, then the shadow from the hand will not lie on the notebook. Put a table lamp on the left, the light should not be scattered – prepare a lamp, the power of the light bulb should be 40–60 watts. How to determine the most optimal distance from the eyes to a notebook or book? The fingertips of the child’s hand, when placed the arm on the elbow, should freely reach the temple – if these parameters are observed, visual fatigue will be minimal.

Hot weather: how to stay healthy

The national teams of our country achieved remarkable success in a short period. Thus, these results demonstrate the effective implementation of the sports policy put forward by the Turkmen leader. As is known, the Turkmen athletes achieved historic results in a short period, including in an impressive number of victories at the large international events and at the sports games that bring together athletes from different countries. 23 medals at the 5th Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, the Republic of Turkey, and excellent results of the Turkmen children at the 7th Children of Asia Games in Vladivostok, the Russian Federation, have become new stages for the development of the Turkmen sport. These results indicate that the national teams of Turkmenistan, as well as children and teenagers, make a worthy contribution to the development of the Turkmen sport. The good news from the world and regional events for the athletes of different ages provides new impetus to the confident steps of the masters who bring glory to our country, which is widely known as a sports power.
