The Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, held in Beijing, became an extremely topical and large-scale event. Representatives of more than 140 countries and 30 authoritative organisations and about 100 media representatives from 73 countries came to the Forum. In total, the number of guests exceeded 4 thousand people.

On the side-lines of the Forum, three high-level subforums on the development of transport communications, environmental projects and the digital economy were held, and six conferences, the topics of which covered foreign trade relations, cultural and humanitarian ties and issues related to interaction among think tanks, the promotion of interregional cooperation and maritime projects, a large meeting of representatives of the business community and a media forum under the slogan “Strengthening media cooperation for a bright future” took place.
