Large-scale projects are being implemented in the country under the leadership of our Hero Arkadag Serdar. Electricity transmission networks are laid in all parts of our country, substations are built, and the energy supply system of settlements is renewed. In this field, the government continues programmatic measures to train excellent specialists and build modern institutions and enterprises, and the opportunities to send them to foreign countries are expanded.

On November 3, the President of Turkmenistan was on a business trip to Balkan Velayat. There, the Turkmen leader attended the laying of the foundation of a new electric power station — a 1,574 megawatt power plant in Turkmenbashi etrap. According to the noble tradition, the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov gave his blessing to the state work, left a memorial inscription on the foundation of the new facility and launched the construction of the power station. In the new power plant, all production operations will be automated through a digital system and connected to the control centre. Commissioning of this facility will provide the need for electric energy in the western region of the country, strengthen the energy security of the Motherland, increase the amount of electric energy sent to neighboring countries, and open new export routes. Implementation of the power plant project «Çalık Enerji Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.» a Turkish company was entrusted.
