National Air Carrier Expands the Geography of Flights

On February 16, the first flight took off from the capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, to the city of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It was carried out by the Türkmenhowaýollary Airlines.

Passengers of the Boeing 777-200 LR at Jeddah International Airport were warmly greeted by the head of Jedco Airports Group, the head of SGS, which provides ground handling for Saudi aircraft, and the business manager of the United Aviation Company and were cordially congratulated on the establishment of regular air communication from Turkmenistan to Saudi Arabia. Representatives of the Turkmen party expressed gratitude to their Saudi colleagues for the hospitable welcome. In a brief conversation, the parties noted that regular flights would contribute to the development of the interstate relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
