The 33th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan has glorified the great work aimed at improving the living standard of people, increasing the potential of the national economy, and strengthening the country's position on the world arena. Following the cherished tradition, the meeting of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan was held on the eve of the Independence Day, which was celebrated in the year ‘Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy’. Important issues were discussed at the meeting. Our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov described in the speech at the national forum the glorious path of independent Turkmenistan dreamed of by the great poet and thinker of the East Magtymguly Pyragy and the priorities for the development of democratic, legal and secular state. The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov highlighted the results of the impressive work conducted in the country in his speech. The President of Turkmenistan signed the important documents related to the integrated development of the country. These documents included the Decree on Holding Events in 2025, declared the International Year of Peace and Trust.
