A Turkmen swimmer Musa Zhalaev made his debut at the Olympic Games in Paris, competing in the 100-metre freestyle. The 21-year-old athlete posted a time of 52.29 seconds in the qualifier, which let him rank 61st ahead of 18 rivals.
