The Path to Sustainable Food Abundance

Ensuring food abundance in the country is one of the priorities of Turkmenistan’s economic policy. The agro-industrial complex plays a crucial role in achieving this goal. Due to the ongoing reforms in agriculture, significant progress has been achieved in this sphere. The use of artificial intelligence technologies opens up unlimited possibilities for ensuring sustainable food abundance.

This year, hardworking farmers handed over more than 1 million 400 thousand tonnes of grain to the harman of the Motherland, and successfully fulfilled contractual obligations for harvesting food wheat. In addition, in agriculture, in the six months of 2024, compared with the same period in 2023, the production of vegetables increased by 7.4 per cent, potatoes – by 11.4 per cent, berries and fruit – by 1.2 per cent.
