Turkmenistan is preparing to host a prestigious global sports event. In a few days, on April 15–20, the international ice hockey tournament will be held in Ashgabat.

According to the Decree signed by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov on March 1, the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan will organize this event in cooperation with the relevant ministries and departments of the country. The Decree launched the work on holding the international tournament at a high level. Thus, the activities are defined in detail, and effective measures are underway to implement them.
