The Turkmen language and literature are studied on a scientific basis in the year ‘Ocean of Wisdom of Magtymguly Pyragy’. Great attention is attached to the cultural heritage of our people and its promotion. In this context, international conferences and meetings are held in the country on a regular basis. This fact creates good opportunities for exchange of experience between scientists, writers, and historians.

To date, the works and poetry by Magtymguly Pyragy are read by the world community and the scientists studying the East. That is why the great Turkmen poet and thinker deserved high esteem and respect in the world. Many generations have been studying the poet's works for three centuries. Thus, his poetry has special place in the world literature. His inspiring poems promote patriotism, humanism, and enthusiasm for science.
