President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who is on a labour leave, took a bike ride along the Avaza national tourism zone on the Caspian Sea coast. In this regard, targeted measures are being implemented to protect people’s health, to harmoniously develop the younger generation and to provide conditions for comfortable and healthy recreation for citizens, especially during their vacation. A Faithful Son of His Motherland

“A man always has a name. Even if he passes away, his name lives on. I often remember my father. The wise men said the wealth of a man in this world is his good name.” These are the words from the book The Meaning of My Life by the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in which he devoted many pages to his father Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov. Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov would have turned 92 on August 12. He, a teacher by vocation, a career military man and expert in historical methodology, went a long and glorious way from a rural schoolteacher to a high officer rank. Myalikguly aga worked with full dedication of his strength, knowledge and skills in all he periods of his life. An honorary veteran of labour and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he enjoyed great authority and respect among the Turkmen people, being a worthy example for the youth to follow.

Turkmenistan — UN: Cooperation for the Sake of Peace and Creation

For over 30 years, Turkmenistan, as a full and active member of the United Nations, continues to make a significant contribution to the implementation of the principles of its Charter. Defending the importance of peaceful coexistence, preventive diplomacy and equal dialogue, Turkmenistan has always advocated constructive cooperation on the international arena. In preparation for the celebration of the 30th anniversary of neutrality in 2025 and the implementation of the UN General Assembly Resolution declaring the next year the International Year of Peace and Trust, Turkmenistan will continue to actively interact with partners. Specific steps taken by the state are reflected in the priority positions of Turkmenistan, which will be announced at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly. Under the leadership of the esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan is actively preparing for the start of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly. As a country that has officially adopted all 17 Sustainable Development Goals and adapted them to national plans and strategies for socioeconomic development, Turkmenistan calls for further strengthening multilateral cooperation in all key areas of society.

The monument to Magtymguly in the Kopetdag Mountains

The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted in the Address to the Turkmen athletes, ‘Following the heroic and victorious path of our ancestors, you should demonstrate your skills at the international events and win medals. I firmly believe that you will protect the honour and dignity of Turkmenistan, achieve excellent results in various competitions, and lift the national flag of our beloved Motherland highly’. The Turkmen athletes consider it the sacred duty to earn the trust of the President of Turkmenistan. Orazgul Babanyyazova, a student at the secondary school 28 in Gumdag, Balkan Velayat, is one of these young athletes. Born in Gumdag in 2008, Orazgul has been enthusiastically attending the sports school 7 of the Balkan Velayat Main Department on Physical Culture and Sports since the age of 10. It should be noted that the coach of the sports school Orazgylych Chakanov, who has already prepared a number of talented athletes, does his best to train the weightlifters.
