The country held celebrations to mark Turkmen Alabay Day, which included exhibitions, creative competitions for the artistic embodiment of the image of Alabay dogs in works of fine, decorative and applied arts and other cultural events.
The IV Meeting of the Türkmen Alabaý Itleri International Association was held in the capital, during which new members were accepted into this organisation, and the best dog handlers of the country were awarded the honorary title “Türkmenistanyň at gazanan itşynasy”.
