An Italian tenor Matteo Lippi performed in a concert at Magtymguly National Music and Drama Theatre. The musical event marked the 10th anniversary of the opening of the Embassy of Italy in Turkmenistan and the centenary of the death of the famous Italian composer, organist and choirmaster Giacomo Puccini.
The event was organised by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of Italy to Turkmenistan. Together with the guest, the Turkmen opera soloists Bahar Durdiyeva and Gozel Annahanova, accompanied by the State Symphony Orchestra of Turkmenistan conducted by Rasul Klychev, performed the works of the Italian maestro.
