On July 22, the special ceremony was held for the national team of Turkmenistan participating in the XXXIII Summer Olympics in Paris, the capital of France. The event was organized at the Martial Arts Sports Complex of the Olympic Village in Ashgabat.
Many representatives of the sports community, including the members of the State Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan, the National Olympic and Paralympic Committees, the sports federations, public organizations, and students of institutions of higher education greeted the Olympic delegation of Turkmenistan with heavy applause. The delegation consists of 19 people, including six athletes in four sports, namely, judo, weightlifting, swimming, and athletics.
