On July 12, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov conducted an extended sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers, at which the results of the work of economic sectors for six months of the current year were summed up,
and the progress in implementing the adopted programmes of the socioeconomic development of the country was discussed. The agenda included the identification of long-term tasks for the second half of the year and personnel issues. Reports from the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, a number of heads of government agencies and the hyakims of velayats were also heard.
