The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for an official visit to the Russian Federation. As part of the rich programme of the visit, carried out at the invitation of the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, a number of bilateral meetings in Moscow were planned to promote the further progressive development of the inter-parliamentary relations and, in general, the traditionally friendly Turkmen-Russian relations.
At the Moscow International Airport Vnukovo-2, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was warmly and cordially welcomed by the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko and other officials.
