The month under the motto ‘Road Safety – Peace of Our Life’ is held on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan in September every year, and has great importance in preventing the road accidents in our country.

Thus, Turkmenistan attaches great significance to the road safety month on the eve of the 30th anniversary of independence. The officials explain the laws on road safety to our compatriots at the numerous public awareness events at the enterprises, schools and kindergartens. Promotional and explanatory work is very important in ensuring the traffic safety and in increasing the awareness of pedestrians and drivers about the road regulations.
