The ceremony of awarding the winners of the creative contest “Winged Horses – Our National Pride”, timed to coincide with the National Day of the Turkmen Horse, took place at the Museum of Fine Arts of the capital. The event was organised by the Ministry of Culture and the National Trade Union Centre of Turkmenistan.

Figures of culture and art, writers and poets, journalists and residents of our country took part in the competition with great creative enthusiasm. In the nomination of the best poems glorifying the beauty of the Ahalteke horses, the laureates were the head of the department of the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan Rahman Dovletov, the editor of the department of the Watan newspaper Ogultach Oraztaganova, students of Magtymguly Turkmen State University Gunesh Maksadova and Begench Amashov, teacher of secondary school 5 of the Etrek etrap, Balkan velayat, Ahmetberdi Mededov, a resident of Saparmyrat Turkmenbashi etrap, Dashoguz velayat, Gurbanbay Amanov, the head of the literary and drama department of Seyitnazar Seydi State Music and Drama Theatre of the Lebap velayat Shohrat Masharipov and a resident of the town of Bayramaly, Mary velayat, Mayagozel Amanova.
