In the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, in our country, special importance is attached to public health protection, which is a key priority of the policy of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The Law of Turkmenistan “On Public Health Protection”, the Saglyk State Programme and the Programme “Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State: The National Programme of the Socioeconomic Development of Turkmenistan in 2022–2052” envisage the development of the national healthcare system at all levels and the implementation of the comprehensive programmes aimed at improving public health and preventing diseases.
Among the priorities are the prevention and control of non-communicable diseases, in particular, malignant neoplasms, as set forth in the Saglyk State Programme and other national programmes, which provide for specific measures to improve the national oncology service.
