As is known, Volume XVI of the encyclopaedic work by our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ‘Medicinal Plants of Turkmenistan’ has been published recently. The book became a wonderful gift to the Turkmen people.
The new volume of the book by our Hero-Arkadag has three language editions, namely, Turkmen, English and Russian. The volume was decorated with beautiful coloured pictures of the plants. The book provides detailed information on 106 plants of great importance in folk medicine. The main goal of the book is to improve the knowledge of medicinal plants, their structure, habitats, distribution, chemical composition, growth conditions, use in medicine, as well as the period of collection, methods, and storage. This information expands its significance for medical workers.
