Demodicosis is a lesion of the eyelids caused by mites of the genus demodex, and is one of the most widespread dermatoses. Among all inflammatory diseases of the eyelids, blepharitis and blepharoconjunctivitis of demodectic etiology occupy from 39 to 88% [4, 6, 7].
