President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko, who had arrived in Turkmenistan at the head of her country’s delegation to participate in the Inter-Parliamentary Forum of the Countries of Central Asia and the Russian Federation and in the plenary session of the Women’s Dialogue.

Expressing gratitude for the warm welcome, the guest conveyed to the head of state congratulations on the occasion of holding such significant representative meetings and best wishes from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of Russia Mikhail Mishustin, who had confirmed the unchanging commitment of the Russian party to traditional relations of friendship and fruitful cooperation with Turkmenistan.
