The events of the past week reflected the main priorities of the policy pursued by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov – strategic partnership for the sake of world peace, the socioeconomic prosperity of the Motherland and the enhancement of the welfare of the Turkmen people. The opening of new important facilities on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence was an eloquent confirmation of the steady progress of Turkmenistan to new heights of progress.

On August 11, the national leader took part in the opening of a new military unit of the Naval Forces of the country and a complex of buildings of the frontier post of the State Frontier Service.
