On the 24th of October the President of Turkmenistan took part as the esteemed guest in «The BRICS plus out rich formation» of the 16th BRICS summit. As is generally known BRICS was formed within the limits of the Petersburg International Economical Forum in 2006 and since that time it became one of the authoritative organizations of the world. Turkmenistan takes part in the summit of the organization «The BRICS plus out rich formation» for the first time.

This summit held under the chairmanship of Vladimir Putin, the President of Russian Federation gave the possibility for open dialogue for the co-operation member countries of organization «The BRICS plus out rich formation». Among the participants of the summit there are the Leaders of the countries of the Co-operation of Independent States (CIS), the leaders of the states of Asia, Africa, the Near East and Latin America, the heads of the executive bodies of international organizations.
