The Ancient Anau – the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World conference took place at the Ak Bugday National Museum of Turkmenistan in Anau town. It marked the decision of the 39th Term Meeting of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY, which was held in Bursa (Turkey) on November 5 last year, to declare Anau town as the Cultural Capital of the Turkic World 2024. It is also symbolic that 2024 was declared as the Year of the great poet and thinker Magtymguly Fraghi at this meeting.
