First integrated expedition to study mud volcanoes

Turkmenistan has launched the major research initiative to include the unique mud volcanoes Akpatlavuk and Geokpatlavuk in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The first integrated expedition, consisting of the leading specialists of the country, was held.
