On October 25, 2021, a telephone conversation took place between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

At the beginning of the dialogue, the Turkmen leader cordially congratulated the head of neighboring country on his election as President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, wishing him good health for many years, prosperity and great success in his responsible work at the highest state post.
