The Ahalteke horses are considered the national value, pride and glory of the Turkmen people, their companions and friends. Thanks to the construction and operation of modern equestrian sports complexes in different corners of the country, Turkmenistan has become a venue for horse races and equestrian events of the international and national levels.

The ground-breaking ceremony for the modern stable designed for 600 Ahalteke horses was recently held on the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan in Gokdepe Etrap, Ahal Velayat.
