As is known, Polina Guryeva has won the first-ever medal for Turkmenistan at the XXXII Summer Olympic Games in Japan. This fact made our compatriots happy. She competed in the weightlifting event and won a silver medal in the 59-kilogramme weight class. Representatives from 14 countries competed in this weight class event.

This success inspired all students in Turkmenistan. The sports policy put forward by the Turkmen leader has resulted in this victory to enhance the international prestige of Turkmenistan.
