Each nation has its pride and values that decorate the multiply pages of history. The ancestors of the Turkmen people created the rich cultural heritage, including in the epics ‘Oguznama’, ‘Gorkut Ata’, ‘Gorogly’, fine carpets, thick felt mats, embroidery, dutars, kushtdepdi dance, wedding traditions, and dogs thanks to their wisdom, talent and experience. The Ahalteke horse is one of the most glorious values.

The love of the Turkmen people for their horses dates back to the past. They created such proverbs as ‘when you wake up in the morning, see your father first, and then see your horse’, ‘horse gives wings’. Thanks to the true love and passion, the Turkmen people bred the Ahalteke horses, which were described as ‘celestial horses’ in the works by the ancient Greek historians.
