Ahalteke horse breeding and horse decorating traditions will be nominated for inscription in the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2023. Along with this project, the transnational nomination dossier “Turanian temperate deserts” (Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan) is being prepared. It is planned to nominate several monuments within the Serial Transnational Nomination of the “Silk Roads: Zarafshan-Karakum Corridor”, including the Amul fortress, for inclusion in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
