A new city, the administrative centre of Ahal Velayat, was built thanks to the great concern of our Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov in the Turkmen land, which is located along the Great Silk Road and is the home to dozens of cities, states and cultures. Being constructed on the initiative of our Hero-Arkadag, scientist and the Honoured Architect of Turkmenistan, this beautiful city has become a model city owing to its unique architectural features and the latest technologies that form the concept of a smart city. According to the Decree of the Mejlis of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, the modern administrative centre was named the city of Arkadag, and this fact provoked great pride of the Turkmen people.

It should be noted that educational institutions form a significant part of the facilities built in the city of Arkadag. The International Equestrian Academy, which will be added to the list of the institutions of higher education of the country, secondary, secondary vocational and primary schools equipped with the latest technologies demonstrate that the concern for the education system is always the focus of the state. To date, secondary vocational schools prepare specialists for the system along with several pedagogic schools. Their graduates work in different corners of the country and contribute to the development of the education system. The secondary vocational school for teachers in the city of Arkadag will be an important step in improving the teaching and training methodology and enriching its content and will increase the number of educational institutions in this field.
