The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh, Honorary Elder of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the Ahal velayat to inspect the progress of construction work in a new modern administrative centre of the region, the city of Arkadag, reviewed projects of the second construction stage and conducted a working meeting with the high-ranking officials.

The Hero-Arkadag noted that the birth of the city at the picturesque foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains, which embodied the new architectural solutions of the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State, was another evidence of the resolute advancement of the country to new heights of development and the successful realisation of the creative potential of the people.
