The Resolution «The Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan» was adopted at the 50th jubilee session of the United Nations General Assembly with the unanimous support of 185 countries of the world on December 12, 1995. On June 3, 2015, the Resolution «The Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan» was adopted for the second time at the 69th session of the United Nations General Assembly with the support of 193 countries. This noble gift added strength to build up peace and cohesion in our country. As a result of the state policy of esteemed President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, neutrality of the Turkmen people has opened a wide way to pursue the humane policy and peace-loving, good-neighborly, friendly and fraternal relations.
