Within two days, on February 2-3, specialists of the Office of the Central Election Commission for holding elections and referenda in Turkmenistan organised the first setting seminars with members of the halk maslahaty of velayats, etraps and towns and with members of the velayat and Ashgabat city election commissions.

The events were organised locally in all velayats and in the capital city within the framework of the Work Plan approved by the Central Election Commission for the preparation and conduct of elections of members of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan. The main task set was to highlight the most important issues on the organisation and conduct of the election campaign.
