Last Sunday, the heads of ministries and sectoral departments paid a visit to the Bagabat sanatorium, located in a gorge at the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains. As it is known, the new health resort opened its doors to vacationers on the eve of the 25th anniversary of the adoption by the UN General Assembly of the Resolution on the status of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the celebrations on the occasion of the opening of the resort.

Bagabat, covered with snow, became a really fabulous palace for holidaymakers on these New Year’s days. In the “blossoming valley”, and this is how the name of the sanatorium and the area is translated from Turkmen language, the trees, covered with hoarfrost, against the background of the majestic snow-capped rocks complement the overall picture, creating a feeling of magic and tranquillity. Around the white-marble building of the health resort, in a landscaped area, there are paths for walking and arbours, over which winter also conjured.
