August is on the calendar. And at this time of the year, traditionally in our country, the admission campaign to secondary and higher professional educational institutions is entering its active phase. At the extended sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, which was devoted to the results of the multifaceted activities of our country, in particular, the work of sectors of the domestic economy in the first six months of 2024, special attention is known to have been paid to the development of the national education sector, and in particular, issues related to the admission campaign to secondary and higher vocational educational institutions were considered. For example, Head of State Serdar Berdimuhamedov issued an Order approving the plan of admission for 2024 to higher and secondary vocational educational institutions of Turkmenistan, in a number of which the current admission campaign is recruiting applicants for new areas of training. The annual increase in the number of specialities that train highly qualified personnel in demand by various sectors of the national economy has become a good tradition for our country in the period of the Revival of the New Era of the Powerful State.

Among the higher educational establishments, where for the first time since the 2024–2025 academic year, specialists will be trained in new areas of professional training are S.A. Niyazov Turkmen Agricultural University, Seyitnazar Seydi Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Civil Engineering, the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management, the Institute of Engineering, Technical and Transport Communications of Turkmenistan, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen State Institute of Culture.
