The first floor was given to the Chairwoman of the Mejlis D. Gulmanova, who informed of the ongoing legislative work. As it was reported, draft laws were currently being developed to further strengthen the legal framework for ensuring the protection of human rights and freedoms, to improve civil law relations, to save energy, to efficiently use energy and to determine the legal framework for hydrometeorological activities. At the same time, the necessary amendments and addenda are being made to the Family and Civil Procedure Codes, and the provisions of a number of laws are being brought into line with the requirements of the time.
